Government in India has specified the use of surface water for industrial purposes; records are maintained to supervise the use of water used by industries. To take advantage of surface water for industrial use it is mandatory to seek Approval from irrigation department and after receiving this Approval Company can give proposal to Irrigation department to lift said water.
